From the preliminary sentence of the prologue to the last word string of the epilogue, Tim Smith takes the scholar on a rollercoaster drive of connive twists, adventure, and apprehension. "The Vendetta Factor" has all the ingredients of mystery, intrigue, romance, and adventure, latticed beside message and elusive wittiness.

Nick Seven, previous CIA agent, now a hit proprietor in Florida finds himself in the intermediate of a soil war concerning the Musante Family and Dominic Ferrone, receiver to the Scarletti Family of New York. Ferrone desires to takings finished the Musante Family dependability of reorganised transgression in the state of Florida. Justice official Michael Quinn has a backstage agenda, for of his own domination and promotional material that adds other plane of interference to Nick's plight. Strong dialogue keeps the scholarly person on mark near the umpteen conspire twists and scene changes. Word pictures and imaging of the locus are colourful and reliable. Descriptions of severity and sex are sometimes in writing.

Robert Parker and his Spencer rotation may have met his game in Tim Smith's Nick Seven in the sort of mob and underworld paying back in "The Vendetta Factor." Tim Smith gives the scholarly person a spicy storyline, powerfully industrialized characters, fun dialog, beside a apprehension ingredient that is compelling and addictive. A excellent read.
